We have two clumps of shrooms in our tank - red ricordias and green-and-white discomas. One of our reds is particularly large (at least compared to the others in our tank). It generally spreads nicely while the lights are on, although it shrinks up pretty small at night (they all do) and occasionally stays that way for a day or so. I noticed it shrunk up yesterday but didn't pay it any particular attention. Then when I got home from work this evening I checked the tank and it looked like this:
It's the shroom in the top left - when fully extended it would cover about 3/4 of the total image shown. It's reproduced before (slowly meandering along the rock leaving little pencil erasers in its wake) but I don't remember ever seeing it look like this before. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks!
