Increasing salinity question

I'm slowly increasing the salinity on my reef tank from 1.022 to 1.026. Honestly I got complacent and didn't realize it got that low.

I've started increasing by using saltwater for my ATO

it's water change time. My salinity is now about 1.024 maybe .023 from a week of salt ATO. What salinity should I use for my water change? Match what the tank is or slightly higher?

Thanks in advance

5 gallons x (1.0)26 = 130
45 gallons x (1.0)24 = 1080
130+1080=1210

1210 / 50 gallons = 1.0242

So a 5 gallon water change with 1.026 water would increase your salinity from 1.024 to 1.0242...so it won't be noticed.

I have theses formula in an excel spread sheet and you can calculate for change amount, salinity of change or ending salinity.
TV= Tank Volume
CA= Change amount TV*(ES-SS)/(CS-SS)
SS= starting salinity
ES= ending salinity +(((TV-CA)*SS)+(CS*CA))/2
CS= Salinity of water change +((TV*ES)-(TV-CA)*SS)/CA

Just got complicated. I'll stick with a very slight increase and see what happens
