Individual dosing pumps or multi pump unit like Bubble Magus?

I use a GHL four pump doser. I use three of them for Ca, alk, Mg. Control mechanism applies to all but with singles the control mechanism would be replicated and paid for.

I use the same pump as snorvich. It takes up alot less room than 4 separate pumps and only one outlet. Also, you can have the pump automatically schedule dosing times and it will make sure they don't overlap.

I like having things separated...makes repairs/replacements less costly. Having said that, I would think a bigger factor would be whether or not you have a separate controller. If you do, you would probably want to use separate pumps without a controller. If you don't - you'd probably want to use an integrated unit with a controller.

love my bubble magnus doser, i tried several different dosing patterns to make sure it dosed properly and was dead on

Hey nyreefnoob. Is the bubble magnus doser still working out for you? Thinking of getting one. But can't decide whether to get 3 x BRS dosers and extra 4 strip for my reef keeper controller.

Anyone else who has experience with bubble magnus doser, I'd appreciate hearing from you.

If you got a controller just go with individual dosers, that way everything is controlled from one central unit.

Were i to do it again, I would get an all in one unit. As far as pump repair, the pumps themselves are replaceable.
