Im looking for some info on keeping monti digi?

Requirements:
Lighting?
current?
Color Variations?
Growth rate?
I believe they are pretty hardy (for an SPS) that is.
Growth variations?

Post some pics if you have them.

foster,
i think intense light is not as needed with the digi. i doubt they are picky with current either. However, with a sps tank, you should try to run good current throughout. Color Variations: green, orange, and purple are usually the more common ones. The ones less common are green body with orange polyps, lavender body with green polyps, and blue body with red polyps. Growth pattern may be dependent on current too. hope this helps...

My purple tipped monti digitatas grow rather fast, but are pretty brittle and easily can be broken. They seem to tolerate all intensities of lights and currents. I have mine under 2x 250 watts of 10K metal halides with 2 X 110 watts of VHO actinics. They seem to color up more brighter purple when I give them good current in addition to the good lighting. Overall, they are a very hardy sps coral to start out with. john

they are hardy as can be and grow like weeds...

here is an orange digi that has been in the tank less than 2 months you can see how much it encrusted.
