InstantOcean Rebate: Anyone get paid yet?

They say up to 8 weeeks for refund. Im not as good as you guys keeping track but its definitely more than 8 weeks.

I have IO contacts but would rather try if someone reaches out to rebate company first, and LMK what happens.
 
Not only did mine not work and is missing, I gave one away and same thing happened. Nowhere to be found.

I should have sent it certified. Mail in rebates and fax machines are so obsolete, ridiculous.

I submitted my rebate check more than 8 weeks ago. Would you check the status?

INMAR:
We are unable to locate you in our system. Please allow 8 to 12 weeks for processing. If it has already been the 8-12 weeks and you have copies of your original submission, please either email them back or fax to 336-***-2902 in the attention of Rebate Research. Once received, it will be forwarded to the manufacturer for research.

ME: Dec 7, 2013
Please research the status of this rebate, I mailed it Sept 13th, 2013.
(sent them pdf showing photocopy of rebate form and proof of purchase)

Thank you for emailing your copies. I have submitted this through accounting and you should receive your payment in approx. 4 weeks.

Just thought I'd post an update. I am now able to pull up a status on the inmar website.....says "in process"

I just submitted a request to them as well. Lets see what happens.

BTW- they couldnt find me either.

No worries, after we exhaust our measures i can reach out to national sales manager.

The trend here is not a good sign by IO. There is not one person here that has responded with either getting their rebate or at the minimum, IO having records of getting the rebate sent in. I can understand a person here or there having a problem (which btw should not happen unless of human error) but not 100% of the people not getting recorded and having to contact IO natiional sales thru a contact being the solution. This really sounds fishy to me(no pun intended). To be fair, i did not participate in buying IO or using their rebate and have no connection in any way to the company or IO salt users and i'm not accusing anyone, but just saw this pattern and having an opinion.

IMO the problem is with inmar, the company handling the rebates, no with IO. This type of rebate system is very outdated and suspisously untrustworthy. We live in the digital age where I can deposit a check from my phone but inmar takes 8-12 weeks to process a rebate? We should all be complaining to IO, they are probably not aware.
 
I had to resend photocopies as PDFs. Nonone is getting paid and everyones is lost.

Basically sol if you didnt make copies. Eddie, please contact them. Not our fault they gave away 50 bucks to thousands of people.
 
This isn't good. I did it 4 time! LOL, but I'm smart and made copies. Anyone want to provide me with more info as to what to do? Email addresses, names, people, families...?
 
I just sent an email to our contact at Marine Land at MACNA, hopefully this helps.

We however have a concern. Many posts on our local forum have come across as no one has been reimbursed for the IO coupon given at the banquet of our event. I know this from personal experience as I submitted my info to Inmar in September yet they claim not to have received anything. If I was the only one fine, but it appears MANY have not. And this is only on a local level. I don't know what has been going on Nation Wide.

Haven't gotten paid, but I just got a call from Inmar, saying they have received my rebate, and they are processing it, and I should receive the money in 3-4 weeks. They then apologized for the delay. Woohoo! Hope you all get your calls soon too!
