It will kill most crustaceans, FME. Crabs, pods, urchins are the ones that perish. But Snails and other inverts should be fine.

I've had to treat my tank with Interceptor twice. The only deaths in addition to the red bugs are crabs and some, but not all, pods. Never had a problem with urchins, shrimp, clams, coral or fish.

Not true. I have two cleaner, two blood and two peppermint that have all survived two complete treatments and one coral banded shrimp that has survived one compete treatment.
I remember the feeling before treating the first time - like I was poisoning the tank. Follow Dustin's instructions and you will be fine.

I haven't treated with interceptor as of yet, but I don't think you should make such a blanket statement about the shrimp. I've read many accounts of where people's shrimp have died from the treatment. Some others have had theirs live. Sort of a hit or miss. If you want to be absolutely sure your shrimp will live, take it out.
I would think the easiest way to catch a shrimp is to put some food in a bottle and then catch him when he goes into the bottle. Either that or put your hand in the tank and wait till the shrimp gets oh your hand and net it. Always works for me.
