I have been reading a lot of articles on this site, in books, on the internet, etc for the past year and am really interested in setting up a seahorse tank in the future. My biggest issue now is that I travel overseas about 7 times per year for at least 2 weeks at a time; so I have to wait until that changes...
I am interested in finding a place to buy a good quality glass tank for seahorses. I want it to be at least 36" tall and would prefer something over 100 gallons. I have plenty of space and will be making a fish room in the basement to house all of the necessary components. I am located in the St. Louis, MO area (IL side of the river); so is it best to work with a LFS to purchase a tank or to have one built via someone on the web? I want it drilled for all of the necessary components as well.
If there is anyone in the St. Louis, Missouri area that has either a Seahorse tank or a reef tank, get in touch. I would love to talk with you and discuss the setup of the necessary components for a SH or reef tank....
Thank you!
