interesting maxima observation

Well, interesting to me at least! Today was monthly water change day and had an interesting experience with a relatively new maxima. After the water change, it would not open and stayed closed up, although my two gigas and two squamosa clams had reopened. I thought, great, I killed my most expensive clam. Then, I noticed that I had turned my tunze streams all the way down during the water change and had forgot to reset them. Once I did turn them back up (halfway between min and max) and the water flow picked up, the maxima opened up again and is once again "happy". It did this within a couple minutes of sensing higher flow. None of my other clams do this. Anyway, just wanted to pass this along FWIW.

yup, its just like the kois i noticed in my pond back at home.
i would find they were much more jittery and jumpy with the pump turned off. (nothing to distract them)
