Well you need a couple of people that don't mind spending the time and effort to organize meetings and frag swaps. Every now and then people try to get something regular going but due to the lack of interest or word of mouth advertising the gatherings eventually fizzle out.

I still haven't gotten my tank set up, but I'd be interested in getting together and seeing others tanks and what-not.

I too haven't gotten my stuff up and running but would be interested in meeting people locally. I'm in Gainesville.
