Intestine like thing coming out of mushie

Hi,

i was attempting to reattach my metallic green mushroom corals which have detached from its colony. i have noticed that when i tied it using thread to a coral chip, a white, intestine like things came out of its mouth and it gets more at a later time.

Is there any problems? or is it a normal reaction?


Any help will be appreciated. Thank you
