Hey guys, i'm new to the board and was introduced to the website by another member here. I had some larger tanks way back in the day before I even visited a reefing website. There is LOTS of info here, so much I didn't know before I found out about the board. I'm shocked at how much I was doing wrong!

I have a 34g starfire cube setup, will probably go bigger in the near future. I'm hoping someone can donate some seed sand so i can get rolling. The tank has only been up a week, I have had the rock cooking for about 7 months now because I was buying equipment a piece at a time. Rock was fed and I saw a good cycle at the beginning so i've just been tossing some food in and doing bi-weekly water changes. I haven't seen any spikes in ammonia or nitrite since putting the rock in an actual tank, but i'm going to monitor for a few more weeks before doing anything else with it. I only know one person with a reef tank, he's spent tons of time helping me, but he doesn't want me to take anything out of his tank because he's battling aiptasia. He said he doesn't want to put me through the mess he's been dealing with, but said everyone here is great and I might be able to find someone to help me out. Any seed sand out of a bug and headache free tank would be very much appreciated! I'm near 32nd St. & Greenway so N.E. Phoenix area would be great!

Pics of said tank attached!

stop doing water change and let it cycle. that's probably why you don't see any spikes.
I have a cup of sand you can have. Im just down the street. pm for contact info.

Welcome to AZ FRAG.

I can bring you some sand, rubble, or some established Matrix media at PROP if you are going to be at that.

I have 5 lbs of unused Hawaiian black live sand you can have..or anyone else if that's not what you're looking for.
