Gives Bad Advice.
Hello everyone. My name is Frank and have been in this hobby for just short of 7 months. I'm 20, almost 21. I don't know why I didn't check this forum to begin with but for some reason it just never happened. I own two tanks now. One is a 20 gal nano that i've had up and running for 6 months and one is a 90 gal AGA that i bought on Sat.

I am interested in becoming a member and was wondering if there was a fee or application. I'd also like to get to know people in the hobby other then the ones who want to see me stuff( LFS ). It'd be nice to get to know people around me that'll give me good advice and that I can trust.

So, I have heard about the meeting on the 22nd and will be attending but I'd like to get to know people before that. So my AIM sn is: capabLe. and hello.

Hi Frank! I am Kathy, the club's Photographer....you can just show up to that meeting (Julian Sprung will be there, so should be a good one) and if you want to join you can fill out an application there. Right now the membership dues are pro-rated since we're more than half way through the year. It is $7 for individual and $10 for family right now.

Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting! Just come to the membership table and introduce yourself and we'll get you all set up!

Frank, there are plenty of benefits, some stores give you discounts, we get to go on field trips, diving trips, we also have an auction at the end of each meeting that is awesome.
Right now we have a membership table at Big Al's in case you leave close to them, it will be runing through out the day.
Hope to see you at the meeting

I'm a half hour drive from it and was going to head over there but elected to get the salt water running in my 90. There's absolutely nothing in it yet.

Hey if you need SW, ask Rogger where he gets his. They deliver it to him. Not sure how much it will cost, but I think it will be better then making it or even lugging around gallons of it.
