Hello all,

Been lurkin for a couple of weeks and thougt I would introduce myself.
My name is Danny, new to saltwater(only 5 months).
I have been contemplating joining the club and was hoping some members could enlighten me on the benefits.
I live in Bowling Green, Ky and it would be tough for me to make meetings, but I am willing to give it a try.

As far as the club goes, the North TN Reef Club is probably your best bet. They have a forum on Reef Central as well and have monthly meetings. You are certainly welcome to join our club as well, but as you note the drive is a bit long to be able to come often. As far as benefits go, the LFSs around Nashville give you a 10% discount if you show your member card. There are also door prizes at many meetings, and occasionally a meeting like tonight where we met at the Aquarium Restaurant and they gave us free back stage tours of the 200,000 gallon aquarium. We also have "LFS" meetings about 3 times/year where they typically offer discounts of up to 25% on items during the meeting.
