I have a 90 gallon tank/40 gal refugium...My tank has been up and running for over a year and now. My snails and other inverts are not able to make it longer than a day and my corals/polyups don't seem to want to ever open. This tank was running great for 8 months then had a heater go bad wiped the tank out, that was 2 months ago. I have about 10 small fish a sting ray feather dusters in the tank. My water parameters are testing well in all areas except for Calcium (above 500). Could this be the problem? If not, anyone have any suggestions? Thanks....

When you had the wipeout, did you do a water change like 25 or 50%?
Besides what eb2292 asked, whats your other parameters.......salinity, Alk, Mag and PH. All these factors has to be given first before you can rule out any thing. Cause all these can kill them. As for Calcium, my reef has been running over 2 years with fantastic growth with it over 500. And I am talking nearly 100 snails (5 different types), starfish, serpant stars, many shrimp, featherdusters corals and anemonies.
