IO or API Test Kit, which to believe?

2 separate readings from different test kits, same water. IO says I have 0 nitrates, API says I have about 15ppm nitrates. Which do you think is more accurate? Obviously I want to believe IO

salifert is very accurate

Funny, but true. Honestly I wouldn't believe either of those. How old are the test kits? I personally use Salifert for all my tests. Very accurate and reliable. ;)

Normally I would agree, but when it comes to their nitrate kit then I would say differently. I would rather rely on my Tetra kit for a more accurate reading.

Ok I guess I need new test kits. They are both a month old and I have several tests left for each. The nitrate tests are the only one that both have, so I did them to compare and was shocked to see they were both so different.

how do you get a reading of 0 with the IO kit as the farthest down it goes is 10ppm it don't have a 0 reading on it? i have the IO, salifert, API kits and i trust the salifert over all of them.
