I just acquired a superman danae about two weeks ago but the blue or purple base is not quite visible but the red polyps are extending, is this normal? I place it high and my lighting consists of 3x250DE XM 20K with 4X54 watts T5 .

Don't worry you'll be fine. I once got a small brown frag from a friend and put it in my 10 nano that had PCs. 6 months later it had colored up nicely and I found out that it was a superman monti. It really went wild once I upgraded and put it in a 90 gallon with DE halides. Phoenix 14ks to be exact.

The reason I say that it was is because I had to sell it.
