i just recieved my clam earlier today and it doesnt look to good

A top down picture that's not so close would be good; also, it's hard to tell what you're talking about. What doesn't look good to you?

I think he's talking about the white mark above the inhalant siphon.

It looks pretty good to me, other than the "gapping". But that's pretty normal for a crocea under shipping stress.

i actually thought the gaping was the problem
didnt know that its normal for crocea's to do that after shipping

that hole i pretty big

Yeah, it looks urgly, but give it a few days to recover before you really start to worry about it. Even under the perfect conditions, croceas tend to open their incurrent syphon more than other giant clams, exposing their gills.

croceas can have a huge inhalent siphon- i would NOT call this gaping. Looks ok to me.
