Is good reef lighting expensive?

How am I "trolling"?

Quote from one of you OTHER threads on the same subject "My tank is a reef tank. I used to run metal halides but switched to LED's.
For a fish only system I would use LED's or fluorescent lighting. No need for high power lighting for fish. As for LED types, there are all kinds but if for example you are planning a 2000G reef style tank, I'd budget $20,000 or more to light it properly using LED's."

You have started MANY threads on very few subjects. Some of which are locked already. This site has a search function that can answer MANY of the questions you have. If you are finding that the answer to the questions you asked doesn't match the answer you are expecting to find(which seems to be the theme in most of your threads); well then maybe you need to change what your expectations are and take some of the invaluable advice people are giving you.

I never said that, but what do you want me to do? I have a question, I make a thread. Isn't that how it works?

No it was a response to your lighting question by another member in one of your OTHER lighting threads.

It's great you have questions, and perhaps even passion for this hobby! Chances are though that there is no need for you to create a thread. Use the search function, see if someone else has had that same question and received great information on said question. You'd be surprised a lot of the questions I still have to this day and many of us do on here have already been asked and answered. With a little due diligence your question can be solved on your own. If you find that you have a unique issue or question, by all means ask it. At that point wait until the thread has been exhausted of any discussion before starting a new thread on the SAME subject...

jmadison, cool avatar
and the usual suspects was a great movie!

HAHA thanks, I guess I was in the running for the first avatar contest RC had a few years back. Sadly I lost :P

Usual suspects is in my top 5(in no particular order)!
