HI everyone.

About 2 weeks ago i got a very pretty haddoni. Very sticky and took us 20 min to get him off the bottom of the tank at the lfs. My params are as follows.

Salinity:1.026
Ph:8.2
Trite:0
Trate:5
Calcium:400
Dkh:11
Temp:81.2

Tank has been up 10 months now. Lights are currently 600 watts of pc. Although i had a LTA thrive under those lights for 5 months untill he was moved. I am in the middle of upgrading those lights to 12 35 watt T5's which will be done this weekend. He moved himself to a spot with alot less flow than i though they liked but i guess he is somewhat happy there.
Now from the second i put him in the tank untill now 95% of the time I can see the white tummy stuff. The other 5% of the time his mouth is tight. No stringy things just the white stuff. Still firmly attached fairly big. I have tried to feed it silversides, krill and mysis and no eating since i got him. Don't get what is up.

Any help would be great.

Thanks
Lisa

Go into detail and describe white tummy stuff. I am have an idea of what you mean but I don't want to assume. Although he may be not eating because your carpet is still acclimating very slowly to the system. What kind of lights was it under the lfs? Were they about the same water parameters and big exactly is this carpet?

Thanks

Hmmm i don't know how to describe it. I guess it is just alot of white stuff out of the mouth. All one piece. Not stringy. Look like a bunch of cotton balls i guess...lol

He was under maybe 400 watts of pc. Params i am not sure. It is probably about 6 inches and it isn't even spread out yet. There is more of the white stuff this evening though. I am starting to worry abit:)

Thanks
Lisa
