Is it normal for zoas to have white spots?

I have seen pictures online of zoas with white spots having "zoa pox" - I had a couple of white spots on some of my zoas that I could only see when they were closed up. They open up fully during the day and don't seem bothered. Should I be worried?

Yes it is "normal".

I would say it either zoo pox or it's some kinda of pe polyp, my guess would be the pe but we need pics to be certin

they're not stripes like pe polyps have, just random dots. after a couple of days, though, they have disappeared, so i guess everything is ok. the polyps were opening fully the whole time (kind of hard to get a pic because when the lights would come on, they would pop open). thanks

Could have been some sand particles and have since blown off?
