I have a Declivies in my 1000litre reef tank is it ok to add a Mitratus or will they bully each other?
There is a lot of rocks and corals to provide hiding places to allow things to settle
Answer my own question. The Declivies does bully the Mitratus which is smaller but as lots of rock work he has survived and he eats well and only gets bullied from time to time.
Those are pretty. My butterflies act aggressive toward each other but it's not like tangs and no damage is done. Just a bit of chasing sometimes. Every tank is different though.
Adding a Mitratus to your reef tank with lots of hiding spaces may work, but keep an eye on their behavior to avoid bullying.
