Is it time to go with LED, or stay t5? My fork in the road

Reef Tank Junkie
I currently have a 65g reef tank that is roughly 5 years old. Fish and corals are doing fine, however, I don't know how...

For the last 6 months, my 6 bulb t5 fixture has only been running one 36w bulb. Obviously the fish don't care, but the corals seem to be doing fine, as i only have soft/leather corals

My dillema is wether to switch to LEDs or not. To be honest, I'm at the point in the hobby where I'm not as into it as I used to be. The tank is pretty much on autopilot and established, I already have the tech toys (Neptune Apex, mp40, etc), and all that is required of me is to fill the ATO, and make a water change every so often. I feel that if I got LEDs, it might get me interested in my tank again....but I'm hesitant to drop the cash for a fixture and it not look/perform like my t5's....

tank specs:
36"w x 24" h x 20" d Marineland CornerFlo, with center brace

current fixture:
Tek 6 bulb t5

I am looking to see if a single Radion unit would cover my tank since I am only running soft corals.... But I would highly prefer to not suspend the light, and to have some sort of rail setup.

Please let me know your thoughts.

I don't know if a new fixture is what you need. If you really feel unsatisfied with your tank, why not break down and or take the tank into an entirely different direction.

Check the used market place here at reef central, people are selling radions all the time.
