Is my anemone ok?

It was opened up doing great but it has closed up like this for several days

They take lots of odd shapes and forms. People often toss them thinking they are dead. Let it be and see if his form changes over the next few days. I'd bet he is fine.
 
My alk for some reason dropped to 5.3 and I'm not sure why. My calcium and MG are both fine. So im n in the process of slowly raising it back up

This "could be " just an internal waterchange of your anemone

On the other hand anemones are sensitive animals that simply expect/need stable and good water parameters and biological well established tanks.

Either parameters in your tank are ok and your nem will stabilise itself,
Or .... your tank will need some more time to be ok for an anemone

Huh, mine look like that when they're in the middle of eating something, but I've never seen them look like that for more than a few hours.
 
So its been 5 months and my anemone still is closed. Its moving around and has now been in the same spot for a couple of weeks on a rock which if it opens up would be in an awesome place in the tank. Ive tried to feed it but it just is closed up and i havent seen it open now for several months

I have 2 acan prism 600 led for lights. Flow seems good. I have a mixed reef and everything is growing fine
