is my BTA unhappy?

Ive had a bubble tip like 6 months. its doubled in size but it never bubbles up anymore on its tips. is this a sign its unhappy? i have it right under 130 watts of PC in a 20 gallon which i know could be a problem with the small size of the tank.

i might take it out regardless, just dont want to make my clownfish sad
