Is my caulastrea sick???

Hi all,
I recently noticed that around one of the heads of my caulastrea, a tentacle was emerging. Having a closer look, it seems like a "gelatinous" laso around the base of the heads. At first I though I should have a try and remove it with a a pair of tweezers. Can someone please inform me if I have to worry about this?

As with brown jelly I would dip it with Revive or iodine. I'm not saying it's brown jelly. I do think you have some kind of bacterial infection going on from the looks of it. This is what I'd do if it were mine.
