Is my clam opening too much?

I've had this clam for almost a year and he has grown a lot. He seems to be opening up a lot. I don't think he's "gaping" but I'm not sure. I've never seen a Squamosa open as much as mine.

Tank par.
ammonia-0
nitrite-0
nitrate-0
cal-450
phos-0
ph-8.3
temp-79
lights,T-5

Thanks in advance. :)

Thanks, I thought he looked okay too me. Never hurts to ask. Is there anything I should look for "gaping"? Thanks again :)

gapping in clams is a condition / symptom where the clams has lost control of the abductor muscle and can no longer close their shell. they appear stretched and start to pull away from the shell, this unfortunately is usually a sign that death is not far off.
