Is My Clam Stressed?

I purchased a Crocea last week and placed it on the sand to get used to my lighting (2x150MH 10k). I moved it to the highest position on my rockwork yesterday. I noticed last night he moved himself almost off the rock he came attached to. It was teetering on the edge of falling off the rock, so I moved it to a lower but more stable spot. I noticed that it seems to be slightly gaping. It is very responsive to shadows/particulate matter in the water though. Anyway, here are the pics:

He looks good to me. As long as hes responsive and the mantle is extended. I would just make sure he attaches to that pillar. The intake siphon can change size from time to time. As long as the clam doesnt look like its retracted and falling off the inside of its shell everything appears to be fine. Good luck with the clam, he should love those MHs.

crocea's ( and gigas's ) are known to hold their incurrent syphon open a bit more than others of the tridacnid species.

he looks fine to me too :)
