Its not looking good at all. How did you acclimate it and lets see what the water parameters really are.

what light conditions did it come from and what lighting do you have it under now? Like dubbin said post your water paramiters. I would highly advise you to move it to a shady spot and try to target feed it. May intise it to extend it's polyps.

I had a hammer that started to look similar (not quite as bad), and it actually didn't get better until I moved it to a higher light area with less flow. Of course, I haven't had the best luck with mine, so take that for what it's worth, but you probably will want to give some more information on where it's currently located in your tank as well.

Water Parameters

Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
Phosphate 0
Calcium 400
Magnesium 1200
Alk 9
Sg 1.026

The hammer coral is located at the bottom of my tank i was sent to me through the post

Thanks

Elliott

What kind of lighting do you have on what size tank? I'm certainly no expert, but it doesn't look like it's a problem with your water, so my only guesses would be lighting, water flow or competition with some other coral in your tank. I've always wondered if mine started doing better not necessarily because I moved it higher in the tank, but possibly because I moved it further from my S. dura (of course, it was upstream already).
