Is my hammer dying or is there hope?

My purple hammer has done very well since the day I got him but the last week two of its heads have started to bleach. I don't know why. Everything else in the tank is doing well and is growing. Have another green hammer that looks amazing. Here is a picture from today.



Anyone have any ideas on what is going on and what to do in order to save the bleached heads?

I have a few guesses without more info. It looks like from your picture you have white bugs (little fleas) on the hammer. I had them really bad and had to dip my euphyllia twice in bayer complete insect killer, diluted with tank water. After the second treatment... gone. Could also be from FW's. Did you change your lamps? Increase flow? Alk swing? Are there vermetid snails on the damaged heads. All that those could be contributing factors.
