Hi.
Everywhere I go I see all aquariums with very blue light.
I have 2 MH 250 W. I cant remember what the color K was. maybe 10000K.
Is my light too white for coral?

I've seen people say that 10k is great for growth but without supplementing any actinic it's not going to make your corals pop in color. 10k is an icy white with a hint of blue, 20k will get you lots more blue vs white. I run 10k MH but I also have blue actinic T5's I'm running also and I have a canopy so it's easier to do for me.

Many people use the 20k Ushio Bulbs. Here is a video comparing different bulbs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VH48F3hG7a4

i intend to grow lps softies and sps.
I can change the bulbs. the Q is what temprature- 20 or 14?
I don't plan to switch to LED just yet.
without a canopy I cant combine- as far as I know.
