Is my old lifereef equipment worth anything?

Hi,
I have a lifereef calcium reactor and in sump protein skimmer that are a few years old. Are they worth anything?

While I can’t speak for myself but it seems Life Reef is a pretty decent brand. Some quick research shows the skimmers still fetch around $200 give or take.

I can’t find much of their calcium reactors but given new prices, I’d imagine $300+ give or take.

Their skimmers are definitely built to last. I had one years ago and it was awesome, until I dropped it on the concrete basement floor while cleaning it

That said, I think Shane ^ has a pretty accurate take on use prices.

Lifereef has a following. A new one would be identical to yours. I have a 3 foot tall one running.

Thanks for the info…I loved my reef tank, but unfortunately life got in the way. Donated it to high school biology class so at least it is doing some good. I’ll put a post in the sellers forum later today.
