Is My Purple Tip Anemone Stuck

Within the first day in the tank my Anemone went into a cave area then into a clearing beyond the cave. Can it find it's way back out? It's in an area that it look stuck in and being new to this should it be assisted at all or left alone.

I do see decent water movement in the area it's in.

Kinda a stupid question I suppose.

Sebae anemones wont get "stuck". its just acclimating itself to your lights. What lighting are you employing?

I have the HQI 150W kit with a 14K bulb running about 5hrs a day (since last Friday).

Just leave it be. If it will accept it, now is the time to try feeding it. I suggest entire chopped silverside or other whole fish meat.

My sebae loves krill. Meaty foods are a must. Mine was slightly bleached like yours when I purchased it and I found that soaking frozen foods in Zoe and Zocon w/ some Vitamin C really helped it get back on it's feet. When I purchased mine it was about the size of yours and 5 months later it has easily tripled in size.

A tip to myself as this happened to me is to next time I buy an anoemone I will block the bigger holes so fish can still go through but will block the anemone.

Also I will ask the LFS what they feed so I can continue the same feeding patterns so they feel more normal.
