Is my skimmer undersized?

Rat Bastard!
I've got a 180 with about 50 gallons in the sump and I'm using an ASM-G4 that's rated for 350G. That sounds good but I've seen quite a few references on here and other forums that make me think that I'm not skimming enough for the bioload that I have in the tank. Take a look and tell me what you think. If you think I'm in need of something with more capacity I'd appreciate some recommendations.

Thanks,
Mike

personally i am not a fan of the asm's as i have owned 3 of them. your tank is pretty heavy stocked, will it work ? yes it will, can you get a better and more efficient skimmer ? yes you can,

IMO the ASM was a great skimmer for its day and still performs very well. A little modding on them goes along way. Your G3 should be fine. If you want more out of it you can mesh and recirc mod it. You will be impressed with the difference it will make for a cheap alternative to buying a new skimmer. There are some great skimmers on the market at a good price though.
