Is my snail reproducing or pooping????

Ok I have noticed a snail that I have never seen before and he is leaving (on the glass 8 so far, and several on the rock) little white circles (they are white rims with slightly yellow tinted centers). The snail is wierd looking kinda reminds me of an armadillo.

Are these the beginings of new snails or are they lil white poops???

I would post pics but my camera is dead.....

Yeah, a lot of folks breed snails for their puffers & that's what it looks like.
