Is my tank leaking?

Tank and stand is 15 years old. I've never seen any water or salt creap in that area. Could the tank be leaking from the inside?

Other than this, there are no other visible sign of anything.

I'm guessing this has been going on for 10 of the 15 years. I have clean that area many times over the years. But it does seem to be a slow growth. Now, I just don't clean that area any more as the surface seem to be ruptured.

The tank also has never been move off from the stand.

Any ideas?

Seeing as there is salt creep running down the corner, my guess is water running down the corner of the tank and settling on the stand. Powerhead, or even putting your hands in the tank, can cause water to splash over the sides.

Purely a guess at this point, but if its been doing it for 15 years and the tank hasn't busted a seem yet, I'm going with water running down the edge of the tank.
