I've always loved anthias and I think my new tank would be perfect to keep them when I get it setup. Specs: 62 gallon shallow reef 60''x24''x10'' w/ 55 gal sump. Future stock: 1x powder blue tang ( impulse buy, will be moved when he gets large) 2x ocellaris clowns, 1x flame angel. 3-4x lyretail/ Bartletts anthias.
My primary concerns would be them jumping. It is a rimless tank but to my understanding 1 male to 3 females will keep the hierarchy in balance so there is minimal stress. Also I'm worried about temperature and lighting. My tank could reach up to 80 degrees which might be too much for them. For lighting I have two 250 watt halides so again, I'm not sure if that would be too bright and make them uncomfortable. Any help is appreciated!
