Is one enough?

Hello,

I currently have one vortech pump installed in my tank. The tank is new and I just put the live rock in there and it is currently cycling. I am debating whether or not I should add another pump.

The tank is a 130 gal corner quarter cylinder tank. It is 30' deep. What do you guys think of adding another, and what do you think about the placement of the pump, both the single one in there now, and if I added another?

I run into the problem of sandstorms if the current pump is mounted close to the front of the tank because of the curved front which really swirls the sand and eventually moves it to the rear of the tank. Is the flow the same regardless of placement?

What to do?

I would also like to add that I plan on keeping sps. Also is flow, flow? I wonder if the same effect is given no matter the pumps location? For example if you have the vortech blowing right on to some rocks does this lower the flowrate throughout the tank?
