Is the rainfordi goby a schooling fish?

Rainfordi gobies are being sold as schooling fish up at a LFS. From what i have read and can find it is recommended that they be kept 1 per tank via a couple sources on the internet. Has anyone had any experience keeping them in schools or is this a irresponsible sales practice?

Schooling is definitely the wrong term. But I *think* they simply tolerate eachother, so if you wanted to, you can keep multiple in a tank.

I put two in a 80 gallon and the larger one harassed the smaller one until it disappeared one day.
