Is there a "market" for xenia?

I regularly harvest it. Last week I threw away a pound. Guess I should have asked.....are there people looking for the stuff? Anyone looking for like, a huge amount to maybe start a refugium? Just curious so I can plan to save it next time instead of throwing it away.

Red Sea Pom Pom variety. Don't want to do lots of meeting people as my work hours are weird, so pretty much looking for one person who may want a lot. Open to price, trade...whatever

Yes that is what I thought. Hence just throwing it away. I don't really have time to meet anyone very often, it is difficult as I work nights. So I just wanted to make sure...just in case someone actually was looking for a very large amount (over a square foot) for a refugium or something, I would accept basically almost any frag or something like that....to make the meeting worth my while. I am fine just throwing it away though, or I guess could just plan to harvest when I get around to going to a lfs and give it to them. I don't go often.

A lot of times new refers will buy not knowing how quickly it will spread. Usually 5 bucks a stalk.

Nah I will let anyone know exactly what it does I only think people should put it in a refugium or maybe a tank with no coral that they don't feel like keeping up so it can take over. Or just an easy easy tank full of gsp, xenia and kenyas etc. Some people appreciate those, they are actually beautiful when you forget everything else we know. It comes with a warning

Since I mainly can only meet people at night due to work hours it might be difficult. If you can meet after 8pm you can have as much as you want. I will harvest in the next few weeks. Do you have any frags to trade? Any frag will do, except more xenia (edit: oops also kenya trees, yellow polyps or brown/green palys (nuclear greens are fine)). ugly zoas are fine, green star polyps are fine. Other nuisance corals are fine. This is for filling in spots.

One other person has pmed me, but I should have enough to give at least 2 people a lot of it.

Sorry I don't have any frags....nor corals:I just wanna add a bit more life into my tank and heard Xenias are easily maintainable for a new reefer.
U can pm how much u want for it and meeting after 8 wouldn't be a problem.

This stuff is an amazing filter feeder that works wonders trapped in a fuge along with your macro. To bad all the fun stuff happens in sac or I would be filling up my fuge in that 2 week time.lol
