Is there a trick to getting ricordea to stick to frag rocks?

I have some ricordea that sattaxh to rocks quite fast and others that don't. I'm getting ready to frag around 10-15 polyps and wanted to know if there was a trick. Right now I usually just put them in a bowl with rocks and low flow. Works for some but others end up finding there way to the bottom and never attach to anything.

I used to lose a few when I let them settle on rocks and snail shells since they fall in the cracks and the stress prevents them from opening and attaching. I've since switched to using a plastic bin or strawberry crate (slotted plastic allows flow through) and crushed coral. I let them attach to just a few pieces of cc then superglue the rubble to a larger rock. I haven't had any trouble since switching technique.
