i recently got this clown and i didnt notice this until now. It has small crevices in its head, like inverted bumps. they are small and located mainly on his white stripe if that matters. see the picture below to get a better idea of it.

Is this an infection of some sort or is it just the fish? if it is an infection can it affect my corals?

If it's not showing any signs of distress i'd say its just the fish. They are all unique and have different features. Some of mine have weird features like that too but they are all healthy and happy.

i need help, ptherwise the fish could die before i know what, if anything, is going on...

Honestly, I think your fish is fine. I don't remember my Percs having "inverted bumps" like that, but I don't think it's anything anyone can diagnose at this point. Do let us know if it gets worse or if other symptoms surface. But like crailtap25 said, all fish are unique and have different features... just like people. Even if this were some sort of fish disease/infection it's not going to harm your corals.

thanks for the prompt replies, and yes i only did that because he wouldnt stay still, i wouldnt handle it like that for any other reason. he eats very well and doesnt seem stressed, and the inverted bumps are only on top of his head, otherwise i would think beginning stages of HLLE.
