I have seen the rule of thumb for inches of fish per gallon---but this is my first time owning and caring for SPS corals. I did notice when removing, mounting, or handling SPS corals, that they can emit a small fishy odor. This tells my mind that there has to be some kind of "Load" value per SPS coral (similar to a load value for each 2" fish in a 20g tank).
This is my theory---since we have to be careful not to overload a tank full of livestock---be it fish and coral---since we cannot overbare the nitrifying colonies that are able to support the load---- HOW MANY SPS CORALS ARE TOO MANY CORALS FOR A 20G TANK? Is my main questions----any thoughts?
