Is this a good protein skimmer

I have a 40 gallon breeder and was looking for a good HOB skimmer is this a good skimmer. Reef Octopus BH 1000 .and if you have any other suggestions

never used that specific one, but I'd suggest for your setup an aquac remora or remora pro. They are fantastic HOB skimmers that are rated for tanks up to 75 gallons.

Bubble Magnus BBQQ HOB if you can take the looks. Sub 130 in price.

I would never use a remora, there waay below par to me. Like moondoggy said, i'd take that bm. Kinda ugly, but work well.
