I have these things growing on my glass. They are about 1/8 - 1/4" and bright green. Any ideal on what they are?
is this a hydroid??

Looks like bryopsis. It isnt growing on the rocks at all?

Didnt you tell me that your macroalgae went sexual on you a week or so ago? I just had that thought when I saw the pic. I have no idea what macroalgae looks like when it begins to grow, I have only seen it mature. That doesnt look like any hydriod pic I have ever seen. Get some out and put it in your Q tank and throw a light on it and see what happens.
If you want you could grab a few, bring them over to the house Sunday and we could put them under the microscope and drink a few cold ones. Then we could put my new rocks in my tank, drink some more brews then re-do my plumbing, drink some more beers and watch the leaks drip into the empty cans.
Was gonna ask you for a rock with some pods in it to seed my tank but I aint takin squat from your tank till we find out what this is.
