Is this a normal mark on a brand new titanium heater?

My gut says its just a result of the manufacturing (welding?) process, but I've never owned a titanium heater before.

What brand heater? All of mine have either a plastic(?) cage around the entire heating element or a rubber end on it.

It’s hard to zoom in on the pictures on the BRS website but, the look like all the pics are like your heater. My gut says it’s likely normal and (while I’ve never used one of their heaters) I’ve never heard of issues with them.

My brs 200w look like that. It's normal .

My two helio heaters have caps on the end. This is my 600w brs. I did reach out to them and they confirmed that it is normal.

Yes that is completely normal on the titanium heaters! It does not affect the quality or performance of the product at all!
