Is this a tank pest???

I am new to reefing and just into for a few months now. I have heard of a myriad of pests that can infiltrate a system quite quickly and was concerned that this might be one of them.

I just noticed this tiny anemone looking critter, its pretty much clear to milky looking and the arms wave about in search of food I presume.

Anyway, if someone could ID it for me and let me know how to eliminate it if it is indeed a pest I'd appreciated it!

Thanks,
Mike

looks like an aiptasia. they multiply rapidly and are pesky little suckers. they also can infiltrate and kill your corals. i had several in my tank, but used a basic aiptasia killer from an LFS to get rid of them. some people have better luck w/ joe's juice though.
