Is this Algae good or bad..??

It started as a very small single stranded "thing" and a few months later it's bloomed into this huge "thing" lol.. Anyone have an ID for it and should I remove it..?? Thanks in advance..

I cant remember the name of it, but I like it. Its nice looking.

But nothing will eat it. Its not very tasty to critters.

I had it in my tank.. loved it!! then I bought some turbos & they had their way with it! not so happy!
I can't remember if its one of the macros that can go asexual or not though? I'll have to check my past threads....

Halymenia Elongata, aka Red Finger. Some fish will eat it.

my clowns often pick at it, and sometimes I'll see one of the maroon colored tentacles floating around so I assume that's from being eaten or at least picked on lol... thanks for ur assistance guys, as long as it's not venomous or anything than I'm happy.. Oh the crazy things that I find in my LR haha..!!
