Is this Black Ich?

I just noticed this today. I dont recall ever seeing it before. I just added a dragon goby thats been in QT for 5 weeks with no issues. I really hope its not but I have no clue what it could be. :headwallblue:

The black dot by the eye? You'd have more than one spot if it was Black Ich.

Yea. I dont know where it came from. It wasnt there before. Could it be the early stages of black ich? I have a good UV sterilizer that will kill almost anything good or bad that goes through it. Thanks for the reply.

While UV can help with bacteria, algae, and a little with parasites: don't count on UV to prevent or cure and contagious parasites. It can't.

Did you just put a new coral in? Every time I put a new one in my clowns rub it and get sting marks. Kind of looks like those from the picture.
