is this brooklynella or something else?

There are patches of white stuff just below its eye.
I just treated this fish for brooklynella which seemed to clear up, but now what is this?

Sorry, the pics aren't real good.
This is not really a mucus. I got rid of the mucus looking stuff already with formalin. The formalin didn't seem to effect thjis stuff. This is more solid patches of something.

Does it look like pieces of salt? If it does it is probably ich....but ich does not usually afect the fush that fast....


The formalin would have taken care of brook.....

Hard to tell from the picture...Lymphocystis is possiblity....can you get a better photo?

I tried getting a better pic, but couldn't.
After reading up on Lymphocystis, I think that might be it. It doesn't seem to be bothering the fish too much. They are still eating and doing fine otherwise.
Is there really nothing I can do to treat it? It seems to have gone away some.

No treatment for Lymphocystis...feeding a good diet and keeping water pristine will help but it is viral and will just run its course
