Is this brown jelly disease?

Long story short, I had a tank incident and all my stuff had to be moved to the LFS. We just moved it all back into the new setup.

I lost a hammer coral and now this...

I've been out of reef keeping fo a long time though. It's as much fun and as much of a pain in the *** as I remember :)

So is this brown jelly? Seems to be getting worse.

It might...might not be. It could be that the coral is dying from something else than the typical "brown jelly" (dinoflagellate or other such microscopic organism). As corals die, the tissue often turns brown and rots, which can look like brown jelly. Chances are, since it's a new system again, it's probably not from brown jelly.

What are your parameters? Have you dipped the coral yet? If not, I'd dip ASAP...CoralRx may be a good one to try here.
